Coro Vocati is an ensemble of professional singers based in Atlanta, Georgia, with a mission to create music at the highest level of choral artistry. Recognized as one of the premier ensembles in the southeast, it features talented vocalists and offers diverse programming spanning various musical styles and eras. The choir is a champion of modern composers, having performed a number of local, regional, and world premieres, and is active in commissioning new works. Notably, it was the first professional choir in Georgia to perform “Considering Matthew Shepard” in 2019. Founded in 2009 by Dr. John Dickson, Coro Vocati fosters a welcoming environment for singers from diverse backgrounds to collaborate and create music together.
